Dr. Mark Daley
Chief AI Officer at Western University and Professor of Computer Science, with cross-appointments in six departments and affiliations including the Rotman Institute of Philosophy, the Western Institute for Neuroscience, and the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Joshua Pearce
The John M. Thompson Chair in Information Technology and Innovation at the Thompson Centre for Engineering Leadership & Innovation. Dr. Pearce's work revolves around open-source appropriate technology and sustainable innovation, leading the Part of Free Appropriate Sustainable Technology (FAST). His research spans engineering of solar photovoltaic technology, open hardware, and distributed recycling and additive manufacturing (DRAM) using RepRap 3-D printing but also includes policy and economics.
Dr. Tianlong (Taylor) Liu
Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Western University and the Principal Investigator of the SustainAI Group. With over a decade of research and industrial experience since his early work in 2012, Dr. Liu is a leading expert in integrating physics-informed machine learning and AI-driven solutions to optimize sustainable industrial and environmental systems.
