Dr. Briggs is a social scientist and associate professor in the Guelph Institute of Development Studies and Department of Political Science at the University of Guelph. His research interests include foreign aid, African politics, and effective altruism. Before moving to the University of Guelph, he taught at Virginia Tech and American University.
