Abstract: What makes a story compelling, and what makes it worth telling? In this presentation, filmmaker, photographer, and artist-researcher Sally Kewayosh shares about her creative process and the methods she uses to transform a topic into a narrative. She reflects on the decisions that shape her work, the moments of curiosity that propel projects forward, and the challenges encountered along the way. She also discusses her approach to mentorship, its significance for both herself and her students, and the essential role it plays in her creative practice. This presentation offers a glimpse into her personal approach to artistic creation and her passion for conveying stories through pictures, both moving and still.
