Fausto Cuevas III, percussion

Masterclass and Talk: Fausto Cuevas III, percussion

Fausto Cuevas III joins us for a talk covering aspects of his musical journey. Topics will include his musical education, music business, salsa methodology, and how he has managed to perform with artists across many genres.

A world-renowned percussionist, recording artist, and educator known for his electrifying stage presence, rhythmic precision, and deep roots in Afro-Cuban and contemporary percussion traditions, he joins us for a five-day residency from November 25-29 culminating in the Salsa Band's fall term concert on November 29.

Location: Music Building room 27, Western University

This guest artist residency is supported by the Music Undergraduate GiftFund and the Moscovich Fund for Innovation in Music, established with a visionary gift from Jim and Barbara Moscovich.
