Secure Your Residence - Lock your Doors and Windows
The London Police Service has recently released details of numerous break-ins at off-campus homes near Western campus since September 2020.
The Campus Community Police Service would like to remind you to always make sure your doors and windows are locked when you leave, even if it's only for a short time. If you have roommates or family members that reside with you, don't assume they will lock up. It is always a good idea to communicate with others in the residence to ensure your property is secure.
If you find a door or window is no longer functioning properly, make sure to repair it quickly and/or contact the property owner to repair the issue.
Report all suspicious people and/or activity you observe around your property, by contacting the London Police Service or Campus Police.
