The Donders Institute (DI) at Radboud University and the Brain and Mind Institute (BMI) at Western University are pleased to announce six award recipients from the first DI-BMI Trainee Exchange Programme competition.

Congratulations to Chao Gu (PhD student - Corneil Lab, Robarts), Kathryn Manning (PhD student - Menon Lab, Robarts) and Molly Henry (Postdoctoral Fellow - Grahn Lab) in receiving support from the DI-BMI Trainee Exchange Programme to conduct collaborative research at Radboud University in Nijmegen, Netherlands.     As well, BMI looks forward to welcoming Sebastian Ausili, Annika Brandt, and Lonneke Teunissen from the Donders Institute to Western University.

In June 2016, the Donders Institute and the Brain and Mind Institute partnered to create an exchange program for PhD students and postdoctoral fellows to engage in collaborative research during their training or employment. The funding, secured primarily by the DI through the Erasmus+ Programme, allows trainees to gain international research experience and extend their skillset, and helps establish new collaborative research programs at both institutes.

More information on this exchange program can be found at the Donders and BMI websites.
