The Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies (GSWS) provides a supportive environment where students from a range of academic programs learn about gender and sexuality using a feminist lens to promote human rights and advance social justice. Our classes explore contemporary topics and examine how gender intersects with other axes of power and identity such as race, ethnicity, social class, (dis)ability, age, and more.
