"Out on a Limb: Recent Epic Journeys in Search of Mother Earth"

This project examines the rise of Land/Environmental Art (also know as Earthworks) in the 1960s, examining the reasons for its emergence, its novelty and lineage, and the various shapes it has taken in the last 40 years as our view and (ab)use of "nature" in the West has changed.
