Faculty Research

The faculty in the Studio program are energetic artists who teach from a base of traditional and contemporary knowledge, combined with a strong awareness of the artworld gained through active exhibition of their own work as well as through curatorial and publishing activity. Similarly, the Art History faculty are internationally respected academics who teach across the spectrum of the discipline and are informed by a wealth of historical knowledge and an ongoing engagement with historical and contemporary theory. In addition, the technical resource people are experts in their fields and assist with course delivery in a helpful manner. The department is a friendly, engaging environment where students, faculty, and staff work cooperatively toward ambitious goals.
