Register for Training

This page explains how to register for training sessions at Western using “My Human Resources”. This is a secure online application that allows members of the Western community to access their personal employment and training-related information.

Enroll in a Session

  1. Sign into "My Human Resources" (Use the Western User ID & Password associated with your My Human Resources account; click here for more information.)
  2. Select Training
  3. Select Enroll in Internal Training Courses
  4. Search by Course Name (e.g. Radiation Safety - Nuclear)
  5. Find your course and View Available Sessions
  6. Click on the session you plan to attend
  7. Submit your registration
  8. Print the confirmation screen for your records

Transfer or Drop a Session

  1. Sign into "My Human Resources" (Use the Western User ID & Password associated with your My Human Resources account; click here for more information.)
  2. Select Training
  3. Find the course you wish to transfer or drop. Note: You cannot transfer or drop a course after the Last Enroll/Drop Date or if there are no available sessions.
  4. Select Transfer Session and choose a new session. Select Transfer Session; or
  5. Select Drop Session
  6. Select Yes to proceed with the transfer or drop; or select Cancel to remain enrolled.
