The inauguration of the virtual exposition “Olympic Reflections and Human Dignity”

Today, August 3rd, the virtual exposition “Olympic Reflections and Human Dignity” was inaugurated, which uses the Olympic and Paralympic Games as a scenario to address social, human and sporting issues. The Brazilian Pierre de Coubertin Committee (BPCC), with institutional support from the United Nations Information Centre for Brazil (UNIC Rio) and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), in cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).  The exposition also has the official support of the International Pierre de Coubertin Committee and the Olympic Studies Research Group of Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul and it has curatorship from Professor Lamartine da Costa (State University of Rio de Janeiro - UERJ), and Professor Nelson Todt (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul – PUCRS).  

The exposition features 23 personalities and specialists, from 9 countries, representing the 5 continents and covers four themes: Sport and Values, Intersexuality, Refugees and Freedom of Expression
