PhD Student Andrew Pettit selected to present at International Olympic Academy sessions
Kinesiology PhD student Andrew Pettit has been selected to participate in the upcoming sessions of the International Olympic Academy, in Olympia, Greece. The 13th International Session for Educators of Higher Institutes of Physical Education, focusses on the topic of, "The Olympic Truce as an Educational Tool for Peace." Andrew's presentation will focus on the historical foundations of the modern Olympic Truce. The event will take place from July 1-7, 2019; it is scheduled for online streaming.
