Wellbeing

Well-being is generally understood as the dynamic aspects in one’s personal and relational life that affects overall quality. Parent-to-parent support contributes to child and parent and family well-being. Knowledge, and confidence and competence improve wellbeing.

The learning parent needs support related to child (a) self-determination, (b) participation, and (c) goals.

For parent and family well-being, the learning parent(s) need relational and emotional support.
