The Irwin Lab was founded in 2000 at Western University. Our lab's health promotion research focuses on interrelated and overlapping streams that centre around health-related behaviours and high quality, practical, and evidence-informed behaviour change interventions.
With an excellent team of faculty researchers, graduate and undergraduate students, and volunteers, we engage in a wide range of pragmatic research related to physical activity, sedentary engagements, sleep, mindfulness, prosocial practices, nomophobia, resilience, healthy body weights, mental well-being, and equity, diversity, inclusion, decolonization, and accessibility.
