Student Opportunity Fund
SOF Applications are due February 15th
Each year, Western undergraduate students in Health Sciences, Kinesiology and Nursing support the Student Opportunity Fund (SOF) and enhance their student experience through a voluntary $100 student donation fee.
What is the SOF?An idea developed and implemented by student leaders in the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Student Opportunity Fund provides financial support for student activities and events that supplement the learning experience and are not typically covered by tuition costs. In the past, the SOF has supported things like:
- International exchanges
- First Aid/CPR training
- Guest speakers
- Student formals
- Conference fees
