Research Seminar Series - Marc Epprecht
Marc Epprecht draws from Accidental Queer, and other essays around critical masculinity studies in Southern Africa and Canada (Bamenda: Langaa Press, 2024), a mix of story-telling and reflection on his personal experiences, motivations, and methodological and ethical challenges through research and teaching on diverse topics encountered along the way: African women’s history, homosexuality/homophobia, environmental history, HIV/AIDS, human rights, and tourism.
History’s Research Seminar Series offers the Western and London communities the chance to hear historical researchers of all sorts – academic and public historians from our own department and from across North America – present the findings of their research. Everyone is welcome to attend.
