Memorial Public Talk for Keith Hobson
Join us for a memorial public talk, in honour of the late Keith Hobson, a professor in the department of biology. Author Linda R. Wires will speak about her book The Double Crested Cormorant – Plight of a Feathered Pariah. This book discussed “the tragic history of the cormorant’s relations with humans and the implications for today’s wildlife management policy.” And Dr. Gail Fraser has worked on waterbirds for over three decades and currently has a monitoring program of the species in Toronto; a keen species studied and advocated by Keith Hobson.
