Iran and the Gulf States: Navigating a New Middle East Reality
In partnership with the University of Western Ontario’s Western Academy for Advanced Research (WAFAR) and the Faculty of Law, AmbCanada presents a panel on Iran and the Gulf States: Navigating a New Middle East Reality, featuring:
Dennis Horak is a former Head of Mission in Iran and Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bahrain and Oman and served as Director of the Gulf and Maghreb Division and the Middle East Division.
Masud Husain is a former Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Special Envoy to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. He was Director General of the Legal Affairs Bureau and Director General of the Middle East Bureau.
John Holmes, who will moderate the panel, is a former Ambassador to the Philippines, Türkiye, Indonesia and Jordan, and former Director General of the Middle East Bureau.
