Accessible Emergency and Safety Support

When requesting help, share any communication, mobility, sensory, medical, or accessibility needs that may affect how responders assist you.

Call 911 for an immediate threat to life, a fire, a serious crime in progress, or a medical emergency
Call WSCS at 519-661-3300 for urgent campus safety concerns that are not emergencies
Use a Blue Emergency Phone when you need immediate assistance from a campus location
Tell the dispatcher or responder about any accommodation or communication support you require
Provide your exact location, including the building, room, entrance, or nearby landmark
Follow instructions from emergency responders and University officials

Support persons, service animals, mobility devices, communication aids, and other accessibility needs should be considered during emergency planning and response.
