I spent the last 8 years working as a behavior support worker for the Halton District School Board while an opportunity with London Police brought me to the London area. I am excited to have this opportunity with Western Special Constable Service as it combines my law enforcement education/experience with my previous experience in a school setting.

I am really looking forward to supporting all members of the Western community.

NABILA MOHAMMED

Hi everyone, I am Nabila Mohammed and happy to be one of the newest additions to the Special Constable Team here at Western University in the CSES department!

I can’t wait to embark on this new journey here with you all in the Western community. In 2019, I traveled from Alberta to attend Fanshawe College to study Police Foundations. After successful completion of the program, I was hired as a Security Guard with St. Joseph’s Health Care London and provided my assistance to several of their sites across London. I am grateful to have found myself representing, promoting, and maintaining the safety and security of those who come onto campus here at Western.

I look forward to interacting and getting to know my own team within the CSES department, as well as all of you who create the community of Western. As a former student who was a newcomer into the community of London, I hope I can be of service to you in some sort of way.

My time in London has been nothing short of memorable and I hope all of you have similar experiences!

If you see me around, feel free to say hi!

ERIC YANG

My name is Eric Yang and I am a proud new addition to the Western Special Constable Service. I was born and raised in London and attended both highschool and post secondary school here at Western University, where I studied Criminology. I have also been volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of London as a mentor since 2015.

Prior to my employment at Western, I had the opportunity to work in a multitude of security related job positions since the summer of 2013. I was also fortunate enough to gain experience in a Human Resources centred role for a Toronto based company between 2021 and 2022.

My spare time often involves being active or spending time with friends and family. I definitely enjoy a long bike ride or run outside, but also appreciate simple nights in with the people close to me.

Looking forward to my new experiences here at Western and being involved in keeping the community safe.
