We are a welcoming and collaborative group of researchers interested in all aspects of animal movement, ecology, and conservation. We welcome new trainees to work on a diverse suite of projects and research topics.
We offer a comprehensive training environment where students are able to learn in a variety of ways. Specifically, our experts offer undergraduate and graduate training in field, lab, and computational methods. For MSc and PhD, we offer highly competitive fully funded packages and have a well-developed system for funding undergraduate summer research internships.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: BRENDON SAMUELS
Brendon Samuels is a PhD candidate in the S. MacDougall-Shackleton lab currently looking at the role of avian vision in preventing bird-window collisons.
Brendon has been hard at work at London City Hall advocating for bird safe designs to be incorporated in all municipal building standards. We are constantly impressed by the impact Brendon has had on our wider community and all of the work he has done to make London a bird friendly city. Way to go, Brendon!

Where is the Centre for Animals on the Move?
The CAM is affiliated with Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. The facilities we use, and the offices of faculty and students are spread across Western, but the “hub” of the CAM is in the Collip Building.
