WAFAR Leadership Update
Western Research
Dr. Grace Parraga has stepped back from her role as Director of WAFAR to focus on her research and her national and international leadership roles. We thank Grace for her efforts and the initiatives she championed during her time as Director, including the launch of IGNITE, WAFAR’s inaugural summer research program for undergraduate students.
Associate Vice-President (Research) Valerie Oosterveld is now providing strategic direction to WAFAR, working with Research Specialist Lee-Ann Briere.
