MFA/PHD Student Exhibition

Production Still brings together the work of studio artists in the MFA and PhD programs at The University of Western Ontario. This common ground for visual research unifies an incidental mélange of painting, sculpture, photography, digital media, and installation. Though disparate in content and perspective, the exhibited work presents a compelling snapshot of material gestures relevant to many facets of critical discourse and contemporary studio practice. While the alchemy generated by this combination of artworks is unique to the academic laboratory at Western, it also suggests the broad scope of creative possibility within the larger arts community.
