An Exhibition by Mario Opazo

The ArtLab of The University of Western Ontario was proud to host an exhibition of a work by Colombian artist, Mario Opazo. In his first Canadian exhibition, this important artist, who was showcased at the 52ndVenice Biennale in 2007, was presented as a contemporary “Arte Povera” artist. The themes that this significant art work addresses are connected to the experience of political exile and human displacement, both of which were personally experienced and witnessed by Opazo.
