Everybody collects something…
Uniting visual art practices, art history and the aesthetic of graphic design, the ArtLab at the University of Western Ontario presents LPs & Ts: The Culture of Collecting, an exhibition of record album covers and printed t-shirts. Students, staff, faculty, and friends are invited to submit selections from their personal collections. Lining the walls of the gallery, the display will expand with submissions over the course of the exhibit. Culminating in a closing party, LPs & Ts aims to open a community-wide discourse on visual culture, collecting, categorizing, and the aesthetics of the everyday.
