The Italian artist Piero Manzoni is best described as an artist who created nothing yet whose art embraces everything. In a bold and always challenging manner, Manzoni ignored the conventions of art production in order to devise often curious and unique ways to celebrate that which is too frequently ignored, namely ourselves and the world we live in. The undergraduate students of the 3rd-year art history seminar course on Manzoni invited the public to an exhibition that re-presents some of Manzoni’s work in the hope of recapturing the uniqueness of Manzoni's view of the world and the role art can play in our understanding of it.
