Welcome to the Autism Spectrum & Language Disorders Lab Website

The Autism Spectrum & Language Disorders Lab is part of the School of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Western. We are primarily interested in investigating the neural and genetic markers of language ability and disability in school-aged children. 

Our lab is directed by Dr. Janis Oram Cardy, an assistant professor and speech-language pathologist at Western. The lab also includes graduate students from the MSc/PhD program in Speech & Language Science and MClSc program in Speech-Language Pathology, and undergraduate students in psychology and health sciences.
