I am a molecular ecologist and research in my lab integrates concepts
and methods from population genetics, conservation biology and landscape
ecology. We use a combination of field and lab techniques to
investigate factors that affect the genetic diversity, and spatial
genetic structure, of populations. Applied aspects of our research
relate to conservation, habitat fragmentation, and the management of
invasive and pest species.
