About the Master of Management of Applied Science
The Master of Management of Applied Science (MMASc) is a professionally focused, interdisciplinary graduate program offered by the Faculty of Social Science at Western University, designed for graduates with degrees in science, health science, medical science, engineering, or social science who want to pursue management-oriented careers. The program helps students build on their undergraduate expertise while developing practical skills in management, communication, leadership, and professional decision-making.
The Master of Management of Applied Science program prepares graduates to transition from academic and technical fields into careers in sales, marketing, consulting, project management, operations, and other management-focused roles. Through intensive coursework, experiential learning, professional development, and a co-op opportunity, students gain hands-on experience applying their academic knowledge to real-world organizational challenges.
The program is well suited to recent graduates as well as early-career professionals who have gained some work experience but want to expand their career options or transition into a new field.
