Inviting Gradescope Into Your Life

In May 2024, Scantron will be phased out across campus. As a replacement, currently Western anticipates that Gradescope will be at least one option that will be supported for in-person multiple-choice exams. In this session, Dr. Andrew Johnson (Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs) and Dr. Tara Mantler (award-winning Health Studies professor) will provide a gentle introduction to some of the ways that Gradescope can facilitate assessments in your course; in particular, online assessments, in-person “bubble sheet” examinations, and in-person short answer questions.
