Angela Schneider provides public commentary on Russian Olympic doping
ICOS Director and SSIRG member Angela Schneider has provided Canada-wide commentary on CBC radio regarding developments in the IOC's and World Anti-Doping Agency's (WADA) dealing with doping in the Russian sport system.
Over the past several years, failings in Russia's anti-doping system in sports have led to repeated exclusions of Russian teams from international sporting competitions, including the Olympic Games. As a consequence of the most recently uncovered irregularities, WADA barred the country from competing under its own flag, for the next four years.
