The School of Kinesiology at Western University is seeking a dynamic scholar to complement the multidisciplinary social impact research cluster within the school of kinesiology, focusing on one or more aspects of how sport and physical activity affects and is affected by social and cultural issues, across the lifespan. Related research themes include but are not limited to equity and social inclusion in and through sport, disability/adapted sport and physical activity, policy development, and social justice issues of access to physical activity linked to health and well-being across the lifespan. The Social Impact research cluster is supported across campus with the School of Kinesiology Sport and Social Impact Research Group, FHS Centre for Research in Health Equity and Social Inclusion, International Centre for Olympic Studies, and Centre for Activity and Aging.
