Alison Doherty co-edits book awarded 2016 Outstanding Academic Title

Alison Doherty’s co-edited text, Routledge Handbook of Theory in Sport Management, with Profs. George Cunningham (Texas A&M) and Janet Fink (UMass), was awarded the designation of 2016 Outstanding Academic Title by the American Library Association. The selection criteria include “overall excellence in presentation and scholarship; importance relative to other literature in the field; distinction as a first treatment of a given subject in book or electronic form; originality or uniqueness of treatment.”  Congratulations Alison on this outstanding scholarly accomplishment.
