Congratulations to our Biology 4999 students, who made an excellent showing at Ontario Biology Day, 21-22 March 2015, at Carleton University in Ottawa. Altogether, 26 students gave oral presentations and 3 gave poster presentations on their thesis research. A special congratulations go to five students who brought home awards:

Chloe Rose – Best Oral Presentation in the Area of Genomics (co-authors M.E.O. Locke, M. Daley, K.A. Hill)
Patrick Willoughby – Best Oral Presentation in the Area of Health Sciences (co-authors T. Drysdale)
Taylor Marshall –Biosphere Environmental Education Award for Best Oral Presentation in Ecology & Behaviour (co-authors M.F. Dick, C.G. Guglielmo)
Emilia Hurtado –Biosphere Environmental Education Award for Science Communication
