Eric (Yun Su) Jang
Yun Su (Eric) Jang completed his Bachelor of Science in Honours Double Major in Physiology and Biology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Specialization in Kinesiology at Western University. During that time, Eric has also published a research paper in Biomed Research International regarding salivary flow rate in older adults. Hence, he was able to gain a wide breadth of knowledge and perspectives regarding health.
During the summer months, he has gained clinical experiences by volunteering and shadowing at dental clinics and an animal hospital. He has also been on a mission trip to Cuba, helping with the local children’s summer camps. Through these experiences, Eric has cultivated the vision of becoming a dental missionary to work for underprivileged communities. As a candidate for Master of Management of Applied Sciences, he hopes to learn and adopt professional outlook into the field of global health systems. Yet, he is also eager to explore his interest in ecological and environmental projects during his practicum in Uganda.
