Emma Spzindel
Emma Szpindel is a Master’s of Management of Applied Science Candidate, specializing in Global Health Systems in Africa at Western University. Prior to coming to western, Emma completed her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology at Queen’s University. While at Queen’s, Emma spent time as a Volunteer with the Revved Up program, where she helped people with physical disabilities complete a workout plan to improve their health and functionality. Emma also was a member of teams and clubs within the engineering and drama departments, enabling her to work with people from other disciplines and really become comfortable in a transdisciplinary working environment. But, it is the work that Emma has done in the summer at Camp Manitou that she is most proud of. For the past 6 summers, Emma has worked with staff and children from all over the world. Together, all these experiences helped Emma develop a passion for caring for people and working with people from different backgrounds.
