Stephanie Huff is a Ph.D. candidate in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Her research interests include global health, gender equity and social justice within an African context. She will be traveling to Tanzania with the ‘Western Heads East’ program, where she will participate in community projects to implement probiotic cultures to local yogurt kitchens, which will have dense nutritional value for individuals with HIV/AIDS. She will orient her dissertation research around community-based social enterprise as a means to promote health and well-being in Africa.
