Internship Project: Investigating the high instances of motor vehicle accidents in Mwanza

Shabnam Medhizadah completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology at York University in 2012. Ms. Medhizadah is currently a first year Masters student in the Health and Rehabilitation Sciences program at Western University. Her current area of research focuses on the fitness to drive abilities of medically at-risk older drivers in Canada. Furthermore, she is an active member of the i-Mobile Research Lab, a lab focusing on fitness to drive screening measures, assessments, and interventions with a special focus on medically at risk drivers. Presently she is collaborating with the Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences on high instances of motor vehicle accidents in Mwanza.
