Who Is Included?

  • Employees with active appointments in the Human Resources database
  • Units and departments and on-campus organizations associated with Western
  • People added at the request of a unit's Directory Coordinator

Updating the data

Individual Data

A person can update certain personal information such as their preferred name, personal title, e-mail address, personal URL, personal FAX number, private office address and comment. This can be done via the form Update Request for Personal Data . To update role information such as job title, phone number and location, they need to contact their Directory Coordinator.

Department/Unit and Role Data

Updates to department/unit and role information such as job title, phone number and location will only be accepted from the Directory Coordinator for that Department/Unit. There are now Distributed update privileges: The Directory coordinators can update departmental information directly to the database from a web page.
