Accommodations for PSNA 2012

Both On Campus and Off Campus Accommodations are available for PSNA 2012 participants. Details and registration information are provided below.

On Campus

A number of rooms have been blocked in Elgin Hall, an all-suites residence located minutes from the main conference site (Labatt Health Sciences Building).  Elgin Hall consists of four-person suites, each with four private single bedrooms, two shared bathrooms and a common living area/kitchen. PSNA participants are to state they are with "PSNA" and are encouraged to register as groups of four people to qualify for the "Group Rate" of $145/night plus tax for four people to include continental breakfast, internet and parking.

To get to the Labatt Health Sciences Building, where most PSNA 2012 activities will take place, turn right on to University Dr. as you exit Elgin Hall and cross the bridge to Lambton Dr. Turn left onto Lambton Dr., and follow it along around the wide right hand curve to the three way stop at Huron Dr. The Labatt Health Sciences Building is about 100 m to the left along Huron Dr.

Off Campus:

Rooms have been blocked at the Station Park Inn All Suites Hotel and Windermere Manor.

When registering on line for accommodation at Station Park All Suite Hotel, be sure to mention you are with "PSNA".  Hotel room block release date is July 10th, 2012.  The PSNA rate is $125/night plus tax for a deluxe suite to include continental breakfast.

The Station Park Inn is located approx. 3.5 km from the Labatt Health Sciences Building on the main Western campus (where most PSNA 2012 activities will take place) and is easily reached on foot (35-40 mins), by bus (see bus routes) or car (6-7 mins). A slightly longer, route along the river would take approx. 45-50 minutes on foot.

By foot:

Route 1: (~3.5 km) Walk up Richmond St to Oxford St and cross twice to get to the North West side. Walk along Oxford to St. George St and turn right on to St. George to Huron St. Turn left onto Huron St to Sunset Dr. Turn right onto Sunset Dr. to University Dr. Turn left onto University Dr., and cross the bridge to Lambton Dr. Turn left onto Lambton Dr., and follow it along around the wide right hand curve to the three way stop at Huron Dr. The Labatt Health Sciences Building is about 100 m to the left along Huron Dr.

Route 2. (~ 4 km) Cross Richmond Street and turn left onto Mill St. Walk the length of Mill St to where it ends at Talbot St. Turn right on to Talbot St to Ann St. Turn left on to Anne St and follow it to the footpath along the River. Turn Right on to the footpath, and walk toward the University (keep the river on your left). Turn left on to The Parkway where the paved path ends, and follow the Parkway to the short path that connects The Parkway to University Drive. Turn left at University Dr. and cross the bridge to Lambton Dr. Turn left onto Lambton Dr., and follow it along around the wide right hand curve to the three way stop at Huron Dr. The Labatt Health Sciences Building is about 100 m to the left along Huron Dr.

By Bus:

Both the No. 6 Richmond and No. 13 Wellington buses service the UWO campus from downtown London. Regardless of which one you take, be sure to get off at the stop near the University Drive & Lambton Drive intersection (i.e., the first stop after crossing the bridge on University Drive). You will need to walk along Lambton Dr. around the wide right hand curve to the three way stop at Huron Dr. The Labatt Health Sciences Building is about 100 m to the left along Huron Dr. Schedules and fares for the London Transit Commission and be found at http://www.ltconline.ca/

By Car:

Take Richmond St. North to University Drive. Turn left on to University Drive to Elgin Hall to the entrance to Medway Parking Lot (first traffic light along University Drive). Turn right into Medway Parking Lot. PSNA 2012 registrants can park for free in the Medway Parking Lot behind Eligin Hall. To get the to the Labatt Health Sciences Building, turn right on to University Dr.  and cross the bridge to Lambton Dr. Turn left onto Lambton Dr., and follow it along around the wide right hand curve to the three way stop at Huron Dr. The Labatt Health Sciences Building is about 100 m to the left along Huron Dr.

Windermere Manor (http://www.windermeremanor.com/)

Windermere Manor is a hotel/conference centre located in the Western University Research park.

When registering for accommodation at The Windermere Manor be sure to mention you are with "PSNA".  Hotel room block release date is July 10th, 2012.  The PSNA rate is $119/night plus tax for a regular room and $139/night for a suite to include a full hot and cold breakfast, free internet and parking.  For reservations, call 1 800 997 4477 or email reservations@windermere.uwo.ca
 
The Manor is minutes away from the main Western campus, and approx. 15 minutes away (by foot) to the Labatt Health Sciences Building (where most PSNA 2012 activities will take place).

By Foot (approx. 15-20 min):

Follow Collip Circle to Windermere Rd. Turn left on to Windermere Rd. to Western Rd. Turn Right on to Western Rd. to Lambton Dr. Turn left on to Lambton Dr. to the three way stop at Huron Dr. The Labatt Health Sciences Building is about 100 m to the right along Huron Dr.

By Car (approx. 5 min, plus a 5 min walk):

Follow Collip Circle to Windermere Rd. Turn left on to Windermere Rd. to Perth Dr. Turn right on to Perth Dr. and follow it along to University Dr. Turn left on to University Dr. to the traffic light on the other side of the river. Turn left into the Medway Parking Lot behind Elgin Hall. PSNA 2012 registrants can park for free in the Medway Parking Lot behind Eligin Hall. To get the to the Labatt Health Sciences Building, turn right on to University Dr.  and cross the bridge to Lambton Dr. Turn left onto Lambton Dr., and follow it along around the wide right hand curve to the three way stop at Huron Dr. The Labatt Health Sciences Building is about 100 m to the left along Huron Dr.
