Organizing Your Files and Folders in Teams

Each Team hosts a file structure similar to Windows or OneDrive, where you can create and nest folders to easily organize your work. This file structure is found in the Files tab, at the top of every Channel.

Each Channel within teams as its own Files tab which can help seperate relevant information, however it will also mean another destination to direct users to.

Emails to Members With Groups

Bulk messaging is another feature the Microsoft environment is capable of. You can message members of a Microsoft 365 group all at once rather than relying on other mailing lists. WTS can assist with restricting sending access for Groups, hiding them in Outlook, and bulk-adding members. Group management is performed through Outlook

Please see our Groups webpage for more information.

To send bulk emails with Groups:

  1. Create and populate a M365 Group within Office
  2. In Outlook, send emails to your Groups as needed

OneDrive for Collaboration and File Storage

OneDrive allows for collaboration and storage with all Microsoft 365 products. To learn more about collaborating and storage with OneDrive please see Microsoft's Collaborate in OneDrive page.
