What to Bring to Camp
Please label all items coming to camp with the campers full name.

Special Considerations
Field and Turf Camps:
Running Shoes
Cleats (reccommended but not mandatory)
Hockey Camp:
Full hockey equipment (skates, pads, helmet, etc.)
Sports:
Archery: For safety reasons we DO NOT ALLOW campers to bring their own equipment
Ball Hockey: Hockey stick (not mandatory)
Lacrosse: Lacrosse stick (not mandatory)
Soccer: Cleats & shin pads (not mandatory but highly reccomended)
Tennis: Indoor and outdoor shoes (mandatory), & tennis racquet (not mandatory)
Lost and Found
If your child is missing an item:
- Email Sport Western with the following information: child’s name, date item was lost, camp the child attended, and a thorough description of the lost item (colour, size, possible location, etc.)
- Items can be picked up at the Sport Western office, located on the third floor of the Western Recreation Centre. Please call /email ahead of time to organize a time to pick up any lost belongings.
- Ensure the item is picked up before September 30. After this date, all items will be donated to a local charity.
- Please label all items coming to camp (e.g. bathing suit, towel, and lunch bag).
What Not to Bring to Camp
Items of Value
- Campers are reminded NOT to bring items of value that are not required at camp (e.g. MP3/iPod, cell phones, and excessive amounts of money), as valuable items are at risk of being lost or stolen at camp.
Camera/Photography Policy

We ask that campers do not bring cameras to camp for the following reasons:
- Pictures/videos of other campers are strictly prohibited in order to protect the privacy of other campers and staff.
- The use of cameras during camp can be distracting to campers and take away from their camp experience.
- Valuable items are at risk of being lost or stolen at camp.
