Consider the place and role of sexuality and gender in different cultural systems from the Neolithic to the present, using approaches from a range of fields in the arts and humanities and social sciences. Study literature, film, music, visual art, philosophy, maps, material and popular culture and think critically about issues of sexuality and gender. This program will add value to any degree, be that in Business or Comparative Literature and Culture.
Gender, Sexuality and Culture is an interdisciplinary module administered by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and the Department of Women's Studies and Feminist Research. Counselling will be done in the Department of Women's Studies and Feminist Research or in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures.
