Brief Introduction of Dr. Chandan Chakraborty:

Dr. Chakraborty is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pathology, UWO with independent research projects. In the past (1997-2003), as a senior research fellow (1997-2000) and a research assistant professor (2000-2003) in Dr. Lala’s laboratory, he contributed significantly to the various projects in his lab. He continues to collaborate in Dr. Lala’s research projects. His primary research interest is the roles of Rho-GTPases in human trophoblast and breast cancer cell migration.

Main Collaboration between Dr. Lala’s Lab and Dr. Chakraborty’s Lab:

Dr. Chakraborty provides his biochemical expertise in Dr. Lala’s projects. He co-supervises a PhD student Catalin Nicola.
