Musculoskeletal Health Webinar Series (2010-2011)
The CCAA was recently awarded funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) to better inform the general public about the importance of physical activity and mobility in the maintenance of musculoskeletal health and the prevention and management of arthritis and osteoporosis through a series of online webinars. Experts in the field of musculoskeletal health were recruited and webinars began in August 2010 and ran monthly until January 2011.

Diabetes GFAL Project | Part 2
The CCAA was recently awarded funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada to continue to make the Get Fit for Active Living Program accessible to those suffering from Diabetes in Canada. This phase of the project supports the delivery of the GFAL to those with Diabetes living in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island.

Diabetes GFAL Project | Part 1
The CCAA was recently awarded funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada to make the Get Fit for Active Living Program accessible to those suffering from Diabetes in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia. A series of webinars geared to specific audiences were presented and recorded to educate the public about the project and the benefits of a physically active lifestyle for those with diabetes.
