> Introduction to the Drawing's of William Noah

My art work is based on my experience of the Inuit lifestyle, of animals, landscape, Inuit traditions and tools, or equipment such as campgrounds, a Kakivak (fish Spears) and a tent. I created photography, paintings and prisma colored pencil drawings, using canvas, BFK, paper, and sometimes plywood. I’ve worked with colored pencils, acrylic, and sometimes with oil colors. The history of my art started out with work as a print maker in 1971-1978 I still do many drawings, often using photography as a source for the drawings. I make DVD video camera work and recently have begun to do animations, digital drawings from video clips.
