Artist biography

I never thought I would pursue an undergrad degree in Studio Art. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. Uniquely and especially, art continues to bring light into my life. It has allowed me to combine the things I love the most, which are photography and film. "Let the Artist in you take the wheel on your journey, you never know what new magical worlds you'll discover".

My artistic practice has been captivated by the medium of photography and the exploration of cinematic techniques. I’m constantly inspired by how the medium lets me engage and invite the viewer into a new reality. In my photos, I like to construct narratives that are unresolved and are stuck in a moment of suspense where aspects of everyday life and fiction find a balance. I’m drawn to capture the beauty within the imperfect, weird, unnatural, unexpected, and simply truthful of the human inner experience. I constantly seek to find meaning and value behind a moment, it’s about expressing a truthful reality.
