Several new events for SK and MB

NTP investigations have resulted in 7 new events of various classifications in SK and MB.

In Saskatchewan, we have confirmed an EF1 downburst in Langbank and have documented an EF1 'unclassified wind damage' (UWD) event in Ocean Man First Nation. A UWD event means that, while there was wind damage, there was not event evidence to classify the event as either a tornado or a downburst.

In Manitoba, downbursts have been confirmed in Foxwarren (EF1), Angusville (EF0) and Benito (EF0), and a UWD event was documented in Binscarth (EF1).

Finally, again in Manitoba, a new Tornado (over water) event was confirmed for Lake Manitoba with a rating of EF0-Default. See the tornado event summary below for details. Details for the other events can be found using the NTP dashboard at uwo.ca/ntp/dashboard.
