Junette will be joining the lab as a combined MCISc/PhD student in Speech-Language Pathology and Health & Rehabilitation Sciences (Speech and Language Science) at Western University, supervised by Dr. Olivia Daub. She completed her Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences at Western University with a double major in Rehabilitation Sciences and French Studies. Her doctoral research will focus on developing a clinically meaningful evaluation tool to inform automatic speech recognition in analyzing preschool children’s speech and language through a series of interconnected research projects.
