Western University's Accessibility Plan

The Accessibility Plan, prepared by Western's Ontarians with Disabilities Act Committee, documents which barriers to accessibility at Western have been removed in the previous year and identifies any barriers that will need to be removed in the next reporting period. Past and present accessibility plans can be viewed on the Accessibility website.

Employment Systems Review

In 2009, a comprehensive Employment Systems Review (ESR) was conducted on Western's behalf by an external consultant, Barbara Herring and Associates Inc. The consultant was hired by Western to examine a wide range of human resource practices and policies, and to make recommendations for removing obstacles, which may be experienced by designated group members (Aboriginal persons, women, visible minorities, and persons with disabilities) within Western's workforce.
